The TACVALVE Modern Canteen (MODCAN) is the first and only personal hydration system embedded with food-safe anti-microbial and anti-fungal properties that can delay the appearance and growth of mold and fungus for 10-35 days. Each MODCAN comes with a bottle, cap, lid, gaskets, and our new load-bearing strap QUICKSHOT cap provides jet-spray fluid delivery for both cleaning and optimized personal hydration.

MODULAR CANTEEN FOR THE MODERN ERA
TACVALVE Hydration features a contemporary, modular design inspired by the USGI 1qt canteen. The MODCAN represents an updated 1qt model and is the first to offer integrated antimicrobial and anti-fungal properties for enhanced user protection and sanitation. Additionally, the squeezable construction of TACVALVE’s MODCAN facilitates easier and more efficient drinking, particularly when wearing a CBRN mask.
ADAPTER LID FOR MULTIPLE RESERVOIRS
TACVALVE AL (Adapter Lid), designed for installation on the MODCAN, it also incorporates advanced antimicrobial and antifungal properties. This adapter lid is threaded to accommodate 63mm bottle or hydration bladder openings. In addition to compatibility with the MODCAN, the AL can be utilized with modern wide mouth bottles and standard military-issue bladder systems. This versatility provides users with multiple options, enabling integration with a wide range of existing hydration solutions.
CBRN PROTECTIVE MASK CAP READY
The neck of the AL features either a standard Closure Cap or a QUICKSHOT Closure Cap. These caps can be substituted with CBRN canteen caps as needed. The AL’s neck is threaded to accommodate the AVON Protection M50 Cap, Water Cap NSN 8465-01-529-9800, which is currently issued. Additionally, the AL is compatible with CBRN canteen caps from Dräger, Mira, and the M40 mask’s M1 canteen cap NSN 8465-01-115-0026.
