Bloodstone Portable Infusion System (BPIS) Kit
The Bloodstone Portable Infusion System (BPIS) is a man-portable, modular, blood preservation, transportation, and infusion system kit to be used by medical personnel to transport, store and administer whole blood and other intravenous (IV) medical fluids. The BPIS Kit is end-user configurable in deployed OCONUS locations and meets commercial aircraft carry-on specifications.
Light-weight, portable system that can be carried and easily operated by trained medical personnel. Permit set-up in no more than thirty (30) seconds. Warm blood/IV fluids from storage temperature (2°C to 6°C) to infusion temperature of 38°C ± 2°C in no more than ten (10) seconds
Max flow rate (input temp. of 5°C, output temp. min. 36°C 150 ml/min. Max Fluid warming volume on one fully charged battery output temp. min. 36°C , input temp. 5°C -2L, 21°C-2L. °M-Station Max Fluid warming volume: 9 liters / hr. 3.5 mL priming volume. Compatible with standard IV infusion sets.
